Description:
The SC/APC and SC/UPC fiber optic connectors are single-mode 9/125μm OS1/OS2 simplex fiber connectors, compatible with 250µm and 900µm optical fibers as well as 0.9mm, 2mm and 3mm cordage. Each connector comes with separate boot kits that are applicable to 0.9mm and 2.0mm diameter cables, and is equipped with a length fixing device to ensure the fiber stripping falls within the optimal range.
As factory pre-polished, field-installable connectors, they obviate the need for on-site manual polishing. Leveraging proven mechanical splice technology for precise fiber alignment, paired with factory pre-cleaved fiber stubs and proprietary index-matching gel, these connectors deliver instant, low-loss terminations. All connectors feature industry-standard color coding, facilitating easy identification both during and post installation.
Ideal for optical cabling in intra-building and floor-to-floor applications, these connectors are perfectly suited for LAN, CCTV systems and the expanding FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks.
